About B.ASLP

The Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology is a unique programme that integrates clinical expertise, scientific knowledge, and academic excellence, offering opportunities to work across diverse professional settings.

India faces a significant shortage of audiologists and speech-language pathologists, with only around 5,000-6,000 trained professionals available to serve nearly 50 million individuals with hearing and communication needs.

At Variyar School of Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences, we offer a 4-year B.ASLP programme consisting of 3 years of academic study and 1 year compulsory clinical internship.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks and at least two science subjects.

This foundation helps students understand the biological, scientific, and technical concepts involved in audiology and speech-language pathology.
